For virtual visits, I am able to offer a 45 minute presentation of Face Your Fears for $250, which can include as much Q&A time as desired.
I am available to schedule most weekdays before 5pm Amsterdam time. ;)
Do know that, as a resident of the Netherlands, all payments to KR must be reported using a W8-BEN-E, rather than a W9. Please ensure this is possible through your district.
PLEASE NOTE
If the Sponsor (school, library, etc) cancels the event for any reason besides weather or other disaster beyond its control, the Sponsor agrees to pay the author 100% of the agreed-upon speaking fee, as well as any and all incurred expenses.
If canceled due to weather or disaster, the Sponsor agrees to pay 100% of incurred travel fees.
This agreement is legally binding as soon as the visit is confirmed via email or contract/invoice, whichever comes first.
Contacting the author for a visit confirms your understanding of and agreement to these terms.
(I know, that’s probably the scariest-sounding part of this page, but given the dangerous censorship taking place in schools and the amount of effort required to schedule overseas visits, I have to protect my time and resources. Please note that I will do anything in my power to rearrange or reschedule should this be desired—more than anything, I want to be available to inspire your students. This is solely for my legal protection.)
